Located at 2,199 meters above sea level, this exceptional viewpoint overlooks the Yosemite Valley. From this point, you can admire some of the park's most iconic sites such as Half Dome, Vernal and Nevada Falls, and Clouds Rest.

It is also a privileged spot to observe the sunset, which offers an unforgettable show. I recommend not arriving too late because this viewpoint is very popular. The crowds can be significant, especially on nice days. So plan to arrive early enough to fully enjoy this exceptional panorama. The road to Glacier Point is usually open from late May or early June until November.
