You can admire important archaeological and historical objects in the Colosso Museum, a private collection housed in the splendid Palazzo Colosso. Among the items on display is a bronze statue of Zeus dating back to the 5th century BC, which was found around Ugento: an exceptional discovery that attests to the Greek presence in the Apulia region many millennia ago.
