This car race is the only one in Australia that allows old cars that do not have papers (by that I mean cars that are no longer registered because they are too old and no longer meet standards). But it was fantastic because we love old cars. Their appearance takes us back to the 60s, and with this desert scenery around us, we felt like we were in an old Hollywood movie (or for some cars, in a Mad Max setting)!

The only downside is the noise... These vehicles make a huge noise when they drive, and we could hear them every night and all day coming in and out of the campground non-stop... We were really glad when it finally ended!
