This viewpoint is located about 7 kilometers southwest of Page. On US 89, head south, pass the Walmart supermarket, and continue until mile 545. On the right, a sign will indicate the entrance to the parking lot. The trail leading to Horseshoe Bend starts here. To reach the viewpoint, count on a 20-25 minute walk one way. You need to go across the hill, which is a 2.4-kilometer round trip. Caution: the trail is in full sun! Bring something to protect yourself and water (essential!)! If you wish to take a break, small shelters are available along the way.
