Tower Saint Cesarea
One of the many towers scattered along the Salento coast, built to defend the region against potential enemy attacks by sea. It visually connects to the north with Torre Specchia di Guardia and to the south with Torre Miggiano.

These military towers were built in the 16th century, and the four coastal towers of Santa Cesare Terme were part of a network constructed along the coast to warn of a potential attack.
