A small, less touristy area of the city and yet! Adelaide has evolved around this port area. At least, the port is on the side of the river and not along the long stretch of fine sandy beach bordering the coast.

And that's pretty cool! We went there to initially discover the port and the sailboats, then we discovered the old buildings in the old saloon style and we loved it!

Moreover, that same evening we slept by the beach. There is a parking lot that allows free camping for one night! A perfect spot to once again fully appreciate this amazing city!
