Every time I walk through the neighborhood, I feel like I've been transported; I hear the residents speaking Italian, I see the little grandpas drinking their coffee on the terrace, like a touch of Italy in Montreal!

Every year, during the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix, the neighborhood is blocked off and Italians show off their beautiful Ferraris, quite a spectacle! 😉

This neighborhood owes its name to the numerous Italian immigrants who settled here in the early 20th century.

If you want to buy good Italian products, go to the Milano grocery store on St. Laurent, it offers a wide selection of fresh pasta, charcuterie, and Italian cheeses. Why not taste the delicious cannoli from the Alati-Caserta pastry shop 🙂?
