There are two open-air markets: Kuranda Original Rainforest Market and Heritage Markets. Also known as the Origin Markets and the Heritage Markets, these two markets are open 7 days a week. They house stalls offering handmade leather goods, jewelry, wood carvings, souvenirs, indigenous crafts, as well as delicious snacks. It is all animated by street performers.
