It is the castle of the Knights of Malta, now called Palazzo dei Commendatori. It was built in 1368 but has since undergone many modifications. In its courtyard, you can also admire the remnants of the chapel of Madonna della Visitazione, one of the many religious buildings that stand in the region of Maruggio and its surroundings.
