Central Business District
Surrounded by 700 hectares of lush parks, Adelaide's central business district (CBD) has the charm of a small town as found in westerns.

We love to stroll through the streets and weave between the buildings. But we enjoyed it even more in Adelaide because we could also take advantage of the numerous parks located at most every 500 meters! Perfect for nature lovers! So, don't be surprised to encounter beautiful birds in the heart of the city.

We no longer pay attention at all, but Australian CBDs alternate new buildings with old ones. So it’s not uncommon to see a church in the middle of skyscrapers… normal!

Adelaide also has a CBD like its rivals (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane). But it is much smaller and less tall! However, this allows for more breathing space in the city. At first, one is impressed by the towers and then one forgets them and mostly dreams of seeing the blue sky in between. Well, in Adelaide, there’s no problem! The towers are not packed together and they allow you to see the sky!
