Orchid Festival

An event dedicated to the discovery of the native wild orchids of Gargano. Considered an "open-air botanical paradise," 60 of the 93 species of wild orchids present in Gargano bloom in the region of Mattinata. A European record that makes the town a destination for scholars and enthusiasts from around the world.

During the Festival, numerous themed guided tours and evenings are offered that should not be missed.

From early April to early May, you can discover around 90 species of orchids that grow in the surrounding area. A whole festival is dedicated to them, called "Orchidays," which is organized at the end of April.
