The Spree passes closest to the most beautiful monuments of Berlin. The first of these is the famous Reichstag. This palace, which houses the German assembly, is also famous for its fire in 1933 that provided the necessary excuse for the Nazi regime to terrorize and suppress their opponents.

If the building is impressive from the outside, the view from the glass dome must be even more so!

The Reichstag building houses the German parliament, the Bundestag. It is possible to visit it, particularly its dome with very modern architecture that overlooks the building.
