The waves were crashing against the cliffs. The ocean was more than restless, and it was even impossible to see the color of the water! The wind was blowing sea foam moss towards us! It was incredible!

These are small islets scattered farther out in the ocean than the Bay of Islands. The islets are larger and are even inhabited by birds.

A road trip during the Australian winter, is it the right season?
- We started our visit of the Great Ocean Road from the West. We admit that few people do it this way because many arrive from Melbourne. And that's great! Because despite the cold and the season, there were a lot of people!
- We had slept the night before in a paid campsite to the north. The free campsites were flooded due to the rain, and we absolutely needed to take a hot shower that evening. We knew that the campsites on the Great Ocean Road were very expensive and we wanted to benefit from a hot shower before the free camps planned for our upcoming road trip.
- We used the MapsMe app (complete offline GPS) to find points of interest along our route.
- We really loved this part of Australia even though, it's certain, we would have greatly appreciated it more in the summer. However, we really enjoyed discovering the Otway Forest, which is a big favorite of this trip... we love waterfalls!
