Insider tip on Taranto

To go to the new city, you need to take the bridge that connects it to the old city.

We were disappointed by Taranto. The historic center is very run down, with few interesting things to see apart from the Castello Sant’Angelo and the MArTA.

Nothing exceptional to see in the new town. You can stop there, but don't stay more than an hour.
