Yet another little-known but very original place 20 km from Bari. A medieval village painted in blue, it is nicknamed the 'Città Azzurra'. Its picturesque streets and local traditions make it a fascinating place to visit.

Diving into this amazing city, you can dream with your eyes wide open of Moroccan landscapes. Casamassima looks a lot like another beautiful village in Morocco: Chefchaouen.

Casamassima is a beautiful village at any time of the year, but I recommend coming here about 40 days before Easter: 7 magnificent fabric dolls called "Quarantana Pupe" are displayed in the village and they are removed one by one each week until Easter!
