Our three months in Margaret River were not planned... Normally we were supposed to stay there for a maximum of a month and a half. In the end, we stayed a long time and experienced both summer and autumn! But it's often said that there is always a reason for everything. And the reasons must be deeper. We realize that today. We met incredible people, discovered every corner of the region, and had a wonderful road trip to the south despite the cold.

And every other Saturday, there is the Lions Club Market that sells hundreds of second-hand products in a large warehouse. It's ideal for updating your wardrobe, buying a surfboard, or finding camping gear at a lower cost. For example, I bought a backpack for $2 and we got audio tapes for our van trip for free!

We lived in Margaret and as a result, we took very few photos. The town attracts with its small hills and its center made up of a single really lively street. Australians love to stroll through the shops and restaurants of fresh and local products. The town is not by the sea, but it is quick to reach the beaches. Many surfers come here to catch waves. In fact, there was an international surfing championship at Surfer Point 5km from Margaret River!

Every Saturday morning, there is the local market for fresh produce. You can also taste regional products (cheese, jam, nougat, wine, venison). And buy fresh bread! Locals meet there at noon to buy lunch from one of the food trucks available.
