Perth
Perth, the capital of Western Australia, is located where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. Sandy beaches lining its suburbs and the vast Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Mount Eliza offer a panoramic view of the city. Perth's cultural center is home to the state ballet and opera companies and has its own central complex, including a theater, art galleries, and the Western Australian Museum.

The city of Perth is very beautiful. It is of course very large when you include the surrounding suburbs. Parks are everywhere with lakes and hills. There are bike paths and despite the imposing CBD, it is a city on a human scale. We felt very good there.
