We really enjoyed Kings Canyon even though we were expecting to actually visit the Canyon and not just discover the entrance to a "valley." But the place is really beautiful and the walk is well marked for beginners. We loved the center of the canyon with its oasis and its many birds. Unfortunately, we didn't see everything because we were quite slow during the hike. But the visits can easily be done in one day for those who are faster.

If you love arid landscapes and are looking for red rock and deserts, you will surely love the scenery! Bring plenty of water and a little sugar. Although it was very cold in the morning and evening, the temperature rose very quickly in the middle of the day!
